About Amy

When you sit down with Amy, what stands out is how easy she is to talk to. There's no clinical distance or sense of being sized up. Just a warm, grounded person who's genuinely interested in helping you.

At the heart of Amy's work is a simple belief: we are shaped by our relationships and the systems we live within, and we heal within them too. Much of what weighs on us doesn't happen in isolation. It lives in our relationships and in the way we connect with the people who matter most. Amy works relationally, which means she pays close attention to those patterns. How you relate to others, how you've learned to protect yourself, and where the closeness you're longing for has been lost. Often we build walls to feel safe, and over time those same walls keep out the very connection we need. Together, you'll look at which walls still serve you and which are ready to come down.

She isn't there to hand you a script or tell you who to be. Instead, she offers a steady, thoughtful space where you can reflect on your circumstances, make sense of what you're carrying, and bring your thoughts and actions back into alignment with your values.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Amy works with individuals, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety/stress, trauma, neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, divorce, and parenting. Whether you're an individual navigating something difficult, a couple working to reconnect, or a family learning to move together, you're welcome here. Sessions are available in person at her Chaska office or by secure video anywhere in Minnesota, so support can fit comfortably into your life.

Starting is the hardest step, and Amy makes it simple. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation, and the two of you can talk through whether this is the right fit. No pressure, no commitment, just a first conversation. A fortress isn't built in a day, but every firm foundation starts with a single step.
